What was the last straw for me? It had to be when a called a number and the line was busy and the automated Bell bitch came on to say "Let Bell rip you off for $1.50 or 6 times the cost of a payphone call so that we can notify you when this line becomes available."

Really? The tech is in place - been paid off for years - how many Canadians are dumb enough to pay that? I would give 15 cents. If they were smart enough to reduce the price to 15 cents they would make a lot more money because eveyone would use the feature.

Most phones have redial features, I can just press one button to see if the phone is free when I want it free, not when Bell arbitrarily calls me.
